World’s first cyclic peptide for cosmetics

Merck has developed RonaCare Cyclopeptide-5, a new peptide for anti-ageing products. Thanks to its cyclic design, the new peptide is capable of reactivating the decelerated repair processes of mature skin and stimulating its natural regeneration.

Botanical powders announced

Cosmetochem has launched Liposome Herbasec, a novel range of standardised botanical extracts in a liposomal-based powder form. The liposomes in the freeze-dried dispersion of Liposome Herbasec are reformed when dispersed in water, re-encapsulating the concentrated plant extract.
