UV protection for hair fibre
UV radiation is one of the factors responsible for hair proteins and lipids oxidation which degrade the hair causing a loss in strength, shine and colour. Sunlight alters the amino acids of the cuticle more intensely than those of the cortex, because the outermost layers of the hair fibres receive more intense radiation.
