Virginia animal testing ban in force
The Humane Cosmetics Actcame into force on 1 January in the US state of Virginia, preventing cosmetics manufacturer from conducting or contracting for cosmetic animal testing there. It also bans the sale of cosmetics tested on animals from 1 July.
