Added value award

3D models win coveted prize
At this year’s in-cosmetics, the Beiersdorf group honoured Silab for its innovative Silabskin biological 3D models. This prize was awarded for the second year in a row by the German maker of Nivea, Eucerin and La Prairie. This programme is an extension of Beiersdorf’s Pearlfinder open innovation platform, which allows it to quickly evaluate innovative ideas with high-potential entered by manufacturers of cosmetic ingredients.
Keynotes released
The 2015 IFSCC Conference, to be held at the Conference Center Zurich from 21-23 September, will have a series of high-level keynote speeches reflecting the theme ‘More Facts. Less Illusion’. Bruno Bernard of L'Oréal will discuss The yin yang of human hair follicle, a question of balance, while Nik Kollias of Johnson & Johnson will be Looking at the skin with a different set of eyes – in vivo microscopy and spectroscopy.
