Fragrance creative centre to open

Eurofragance, an international company dedicated to the design and production of fragrances, plans to open its new creative centre in Dubai in July 2015. An investment of more than 2 million euros went into the new centre which is aimed at boosting business in the Gulf area. The new creative centre will be located in Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park, a reference business cluster in the area.

The Personal Care Division of BRB Silicones has strengthened its European distribution network and started sales in Latin America. Therefore, as of 1 March 2015 Clara Gil Navarro will join BRB Silicones as personal care technical service manager for Europe & Latin America.

Organoclays with certified palm oil

Elementis Specialties is now offering Bentone organoclays that contain palm oil derivatives that have been certified in accordance with the standard of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). “Elementis Specialties has discontinued the use of palm oil and palm oil derivatives that do not comply with RSPO in our organoclays. New member for RSPO

The Lubrizol Corporation announces the acceptance of Lubrizol Advanced Materials into the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) association. RSPO is a not-for-profit association that unites stakeholders from seven sectors of the palm oil industry – oil palm producers, palm oil processors or traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) and social or developmental NGOs – to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. Certification for membership is based on very stringent guidelines.
