Interpolymer is using the coming in-cosmetics show in Bangkok as an opportunity to showcase the latest Syntran polymer novelties. Attention will be drawn to the new polymer, Syntran PC 5620.
In order to overcome the toxicity hazards currently facing solvent-based nail enamels, Interpolymer has developed Syntran PC 5620 specifically designed to formulate water-based nail polishes. This technology platform was given the acronym SAFE, which means “State-of-theart” Acrylate Film-Forming Emulsion. Syntran PC 5620 exhibits excellent water and wear resistance, hardness and adhesion to the nail surface. The dry-to-touch time is very fast compared to other water-based nail polishes. It also exhibits excellent initial gloss and gloss retention. Visitors to the show can also find out how Interpolymer’s water-based Syntran polymer emulsions can improve water resistance of mascara, eye-liner or colour cosmetic formulations (Syntran 5760, PC 5775), enhance pigment dispersion (Syntran KL219-CG), offer fast-acting skin tightening properties (Syntran PC 5100-CG) or improve the brightness and the whiteness of their formulas with the company’s opacifiers (Syntran 5907).
