Givaudan takes actives gold at in-cosmetics Asia

Givaudan Active Beauty won the best active ingredient gold award for Neuroglow at the in-cosmetics Asia trade show in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Swiss maker beat off Spain’s Vytrus Biotech, who took silver with Baolift, while the bronze award went to Codif TN for Pantodium Cica.

In the best functional ingredient category, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics By Clariant won gold for its Pickmulse emulsifier.

Wilmar win silver for Wilsol SPF Booster and the bronze award went to IOI Oleo for Dynasan Crystalcontrol L.

This year’s awards were judged by an expert panel comprising experts from renowned companies such as L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Amorepacific and more.

Another winner was Bitop, which took gold in Spotlight On Formulation awards. Silver was won by Bloomage with DSM-Firmenich taking bronze.

The latter awards were chosen from over 40 formulated personal care ingredients judged live at the show.

The awards also honour the 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry, a new initiative supported by Personal Care Global magazine. The winners are listed as follows.
