The 2012 Annual Conference of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists, entitled: Desire and Innovation, will be held at the Hilton Adelaide, Victoria Square, Adelaide, South Australia from 22-25 March 2012.
People interested in presenting papers or workshops at this conference are invited to submit abstracts. Preference will be given to relevant and original work in the personal care field and abstracts should be submitted by email in the following format:
• The abstract must be typed double-spaced, in English, preferably Arial font 12 point, and be between 100 and 200 words in length.
• The title must be in capital letters and include the name(s) of the author(s), with the presenting author’s name underlined. If the presenter is not one of the authors, that must be clearly stated.
Conference programming requirements dictate that papers should take 20-25 minutes to present and workshops may be of 55 or 85 minutes duration. Submissions are to be sent to Nicholas Urquhart at nickau@bigpond.com not later than 31 October 2011. With your abstract, please ensure that you include the following information:
• Paper title, name of author(s), name of presenter, company or organisation.
• Postal address, phone (with country and area code) and email address.
• Please indicate clearly if you are submitting a paper or workshop and for workshops indicate if there are a maximum number of attendees and any special resources required.
The two awards are The Lester Conrad Award for the best paper presented at the Conference, and the Jack Jacobs Memorial Trophy for the best paper based on original research conducted in Australia or New Zealand.
