DSM Nutritional Products has introduced Tilamar products for hair styling, conditioning and shine. Significant R&D investment has enabled DSM to create a high performance range of unique and innovative polymers.
To strengthen the conditioning properties of hair care products, DSM offers Tilamar Quat 640, an extra caring and moisturising ingredient for shampoos, conditioners, treatments and colourants. Recommended for chemicallytreated and fine hair, Tilamar Quat 640 improves ease of combing and washing and the feel of wet and dry hair, without product build up. Further conditioning products are Tilamar Quat 2240, Tilamar Quat 740 and Tilamar OP 40. DSM has also developed a new 100% pure bead polymer product form, Tilamar Fix A1000, to improve the performance of styling sprays, particularly aerosols. It combines extra strong hold with a natural feel which is free from stickiness. Moreover, Tilamar Fix A1000 has a high humidity curl retention performance that exceeds current technology benchmarks. Another new active ingredient, Argan Oil is a shine enhancer that can repair dry and brittle hair without weighing it down.
