Bangkok all set for education and innovation

This month, the cosmetic industry from Asia and beyond will convene in Bangkok at the BITEC, Halls 101-103 in the Thai capital. For three days, formulators will have the opportunity to meet and discuss directly with ingredients manufacturers in order to better understand the latest innovations in the marketplace. Personal Care magazine will be in attendance at the show, on stand D70. We look forward to seeing you there.

More than 400 global personal care ingredient suppliers will exhibit their innovative products to cosmetic manufacturers from across Asia and the rest of the world. Alongside the exhibition will be a wide variety of seminars and panel discussions that will be free for everyone to experience.

At the previous exhibition in 2013 over 6,000 visitors attended, making it a record year. Visitors came from all corners of the globe, with Malaysia, China and South Korea the top three represented countries outside Thailand. With 2,285 overseas visitors, international attendees accounted for 38 per cent of the total attendance, an increase of 16 per cent compared to 2012. Event organiser, Reed Exhibitions, will be hoping for yet more success in 2014.

This year’s event will see a focus on Japan. The Japan Country Focus programme is designed to shed light on the country and its unique ingredients industry, featuring seminars to product displays made-in-Japan.
