The 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry 2025 have received their awards at in-cosmetics Asia in Thailand.
Personal Care editor Tim Probert presented the awards at the end of the first day of the Bangkok trade show.
The awards honour the beauty innovators, changemakers and unsung heroes who deserve recognition for driving scientific excellence across the industry in Asia Pacific.
The 2025 winners are:
- Dr Alain Khaiat - President, SEERS Consulting
- Danilo Lambino - founder, Formulae 8
- Gaurav Datta - global marketing VP, Unilever
- Hou Juncheng - founder, Proya Cosmetics
- Jin-Oh Park - President & CEO, Daebong LS
- Dr Lee Sung Ho - CEO, Sunjin Beauty Science
- Dr Martha Tilaar - founder, Martha Tilaar Group
- Stacey Fraser – founder, Stacey Fraser Co
- Yoshiaki Okabe - chief marketing & innovation officer, Shiseido
This year’s judging panel was made up of:
- Dr Oliver Hofmann - technical director at Shieling Laboratories & offficial technical advisor to in-cosmetics Asia
- Tim Probert – editor, Personal Care magazine
- Robert McPherson – vice-president, International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists
- Mike Sohn - general manager & principal consultant, REACH24H Korea
The panel reviewed nominations that hailed far and wide across the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, China, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Korea, Thailand and Japan.
