In 2015 in-cosmetics celebrates its 25th anniversary in Barcelona on 14-16 April, marking a major milestone in the show’s history. More than 680 exhibitors including Ashland, BASF, Bayer, and Merck are set to use the show as a launch pad for their innovations, as thousands of professionals come together to discuss the most important trends and challenges in the personal care industry.
Over the last quarter of a century the beauty and personal care industry has grown from strength to strength, and is now worth more than $454 billion in retail sales according to Euromonitor – more than double its $211 billion worth in 1999. During this time, in-cosmetics has expanded in importance and in size, having grown ten-fold since its inception in 1990. The show has always adapted to changes across sectors and today in-cosmetics reflects the entirety of the industry, offering visitors access to the latest raw material, testing services and ingredient launches, as well as extensive learning opportunities.
Region focus
A new Market Focus – on Turkey & Middle East – launches in 2015 continuing the show’s longstanding commitment to providing a unique perspective on regional business opportunities, marketing, regulatory and scientific updates. A dedicated pavilion will house exhibitors from the region, while presentations will shine a light on the vast business opportunities this rapidly evolving market holds.
