The 2013 SCS Formulate was held at the Coventry Ricoh Arena on the 12-13 November.
It proved to be another excellent event for formulators across the UK and beyond, offering a wide variety of new ingredients and technology to benefit the next generation of personal care products.
First devised by the SCS in 1999, SCS Formulate meets the needs of formulators to be fully kept informed of all aspects relating to formulating personal care products and of suppliers in presenting raw materials, ingredients, formulation services and their applications.
The SCS has been determined to continue the development of SCS Formulate with new initiatives to keep pace with the needs of the market, including increasing the networking area and enhancing the popular Formulation Masterclass feature. The Masterclass will again run in parallel with the Knowledge and Source programmes.
SCS Formulate demonstrated that the personal care market continues to be a dynamic environment. Accordingly, there was often a vibrant atmosphere in the exhibition and many visitors attended the seminars and presentations – hungry for information and new ideas.
The overall figures in brief for the 2013 event are:
Exhibitors – 237 up from 231 the previous year
Attendees – 916 up from 913 the previous year
