New lightening strategy promotes degradation of melanosomes

Cywhite, from Codif Technologie Naturelle, is a biomimetic ingredient extracted from the Rainbow Alga: Cystoseira tamariscifolia. This alga possesses branches covered in spines which become iridescent when put into water, hence the name Raimbow Algae.

Extension of European partnership

The French-based cosmetic ingredients company NUWEN and Biesterfeld Spezialchemie have signed a new agreement to intensify their cooperation in Europe. After successfully starting in Russia for a selected portfolio, the partnership has been extended and Biesterfeld will distribute NUWEN’s products in the Balkan countries, the Baltics, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

New consumer care innovation centre opens

Clariant has officially opened its new Consumer Care Innovation Center (CCIC).
