The organiser of the in-cosmetics Asia trade show is calling for nominations for the 2025 edition of its 9 Faces of APAC Beauty Industry initiative supported by Personal Care magazine.
Now in its second year, the programme is designed to recognise and honour nine outstanding individuals who are driving progress, innovation, and excellence across the Asia Pacific beauty sector.
Celebrating the region’s unsung and behind-the-scenes heroes, the 9 Faces initiative shines a spotlight on those who have made significant and lasting contributions to the industry, whether through significant milestones, new product or service developments, advancements in sustainability, leadership in education, or an exceptional commitment to innovation.
in-cosmetics Asia invites the beauty and personal care community to celebrate the R&D professionals, scientists, innovators, and role models shaping the future of this influential industry. To nominate, entrants must provide a short bio and a summary of the nominee’s key achievements.
The judging criteria includes:
• An invitation to the in-cosmetics Asia awards, where winners will be presented with a trophy at the event held in Bangkok on 4-6 November.
• A certificate to proudly display: Official, signed certificates will be presented acknowledging winners’ outstanding contributions.
• Networking opportunities: The chance to connect with key industry leaders and expand professional networks.
• Global exposure: The opportunity to highlight their achievements to an international audience through media exposure and across in-cosmetics Asia’s platforms, including its website, social media, and newsletters, reaching a network of over 160,000 industry professionals as well as via Personal Care magazine.
• Pioneer status: This initiative is designed to help the 9 Faces establish or reinforce their status as leading figures in the beauty industry in Asia Pacific.
Industry professionals are encouraged to put forward candidates, whether themselves, colleagues, or others within the sector they believe deserve recognition.
Submissions are free and open until 26 September.
Nominees should be based in the Asia Pacific region, but individuals of all nationalities are welcome.
Sarah Gibson, Event Director at in-cosmetics Asia, said: “Following the success of last year’s launch, we’re excited to bring back the 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry for its second year.
“This initiative celebrates the countless people developing, innovating, manufacturing, and researching in cosmetics and personal care - those driving progress and creating new innovations in an industry that moves fast to meet changing consumer demands.
“Science lies at the heart of our industry, and many of the experts driving it are truly remarkable. We invite them to set aside modesty and nominate themselves or a colleague to help us celebrate those making a real impact.”
