Collaboration promises innovation

Amyris is embarking on a new collaboration with Givaudan. The two companies have been engaged in the research and development of proprietary fragrance ingredients for several years, and the significantly expanded partnership reinforces the diversity and value of Amyris’s R&D platform and manufacturing capabilities to customers.

Carbon neutral in Africa

The African operations of Earthoil Plantations are now certified carbon neutral. Over three months, the Earthoil team has donated and installed more than 45 stoves in 19 communities across three counties. Its staff has also delivered in excess of 600 hours of training to 46 families.

Sustainable Amazonian ingredients

Surfactants acquisition announced

Innospec has announced that it will acquire the European Personal Care and Home Care business of Huntsman. Based in Belgium with manufacturing sites in France, Italy and Spain, the business employs approximately 430 people and has sales revenue of around $230 million.
