Innospec has expanded its technical team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) appointing Dr Tony Gough as European technical manager for its Personal Care division.
The appointment reflects Innospec’s continued growth in the personal care sector and its commitment to further development in this strategic segment. Tony will be responsible for leading Innospec’s technical customer support ensuring the highest level of understanding and response to customer needs in this important market. He will be based at the company’s manufacturing and R&D facility at Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, UK. Tony brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise having worked in research and development in the personal care product industry for over 20 years. Prior to this role he has held management and senior management roles at ISP/Ashland, Surfachem, COSi, Alberto-Culver and Unilever Research. Tony is currently the vice president of the UK’s Society of Cosmetic Chemists and will become its president in May 2012.
