Cremer Oleo assumed control of the operations of the Witten facilities from the Sasol Group on 1 March 2012. This acquisition has now established the company as one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of oleochemical speciality esters.
Particular emphasis must be placed on the MCT oils under the brand names CremerCOOR and MIGLYOL that find widespread use in the food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics segments.
Cremer Oleo has achieved a unique position as the world’s only manufacturer to operate
high-performance mono plants exclusively for the production of MCT oils at the Wittenberge
facilities, and GMP-certified production in two completely independent facilities in Witten
and Wittenberge.
In addition, Cremer Oleo offers a selection of grades with regard to technical
terms (e.g. pure C7, C8 and C10 – fractions) and sustainability issues (coconut-oil-based
products, Ecocert certification, membership of the RSPO) that ensure compliance with a
multitude of quality standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, Kosher, Halal, EP, GMP, etc.).
The portfolio offered by Cremer Oleo GmbH & Co. KG is further complemented by a broad
spectrum of ester-based specialities, such as CremerCOOR, DYNASAN, IMWITOR,
