DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials has appointed two new key people: Taihei Uchiyama has been nominated as the new leader for the Japanese personal care and cosmetics business.
Uchiyama will focus on overall growth activities in the Japanese market by acquiring new suppliers, strengthening relationships with key suppliers, and expanding the customer base. In China, the Swiss-based company has appointed Marshall Ma to run the business line personal care industry and further strengthen DKSH’s position as the preferred partner for market expansion services for personal care and cosmetics ingredients. “Within DKSH chemical distribution activities, personal care is a fast growing business and we are fully committed to further strengthening our organisations in Japan and China, the second and fourth largest personal care markets in the world”, commented Mario Preissler, executive vice president, business unit performance materials.
