Chemical distributor, Azelis, has announced the acquisition of YDS Chemicals NV, Belgium, a distributor of speciality ingredients in the Benelux.
YDS Chemicals specialises in the distribution of personal and home care ingredients, pharmaceutical excipients, speciality food and performance chemicals in the Benelux market. The YDS entrepreneurial business, founded by Yves De Somere in 1992, offers a large variety of specialty products such as adjuvants for crop protection, surfactants, oleo-chemicals, textile auxiliaries and food ingredients. “We are very happy to welcome YDS to the Azelis Group”, said Joris Coppye, chief executive officer of Azelis. “Their business complements our industry-focused product range.
