Seatons, the natural oil specialist subsidiary of Croda International, has launched a unique sensory guide to aid formulation chemists. Based on the premise that all natural oils have a unique set of physical and sensory properties as individual as a human fingerprint, the sensory guide should prove to be an invaluable tool to product development professionals around the world.
Dozens of oils have been characterised in terms of their performance on skin and physical properties. Mike Coverdale, MD, spoke of the launch: “It’s well documented that all natural fixed oils have moisturising and emollient properties, but in addition each oil in the Seatons range has a wonderful array of unique characteristics that mean that there is an oil for every formulation and marketing challenge. Why guess when you can select?” he added. Copies of the guide are available from Seatons or via Croda representatives globally.
