Croda International, a global leader in speciality chemicals, celebrated the grand opening of its expanded Croda Singapore office and laboratory in September 2010 with a commemorative dinner.
Mr Martin Flower, chairman of Croda International and Mr David Barraclough, president of Croda Asia Pacific joined in the celebration, along with key partners from Singapore. The expanded Singapore office and laboratory, located within the current manufacturing facility at 30 Seraya Avenue in Jurong Island, Singapore, will better serve the needs of customers throughout Asia Pacific. A new product validation claim substantiation laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment has been added to the facility. Croda Singapore is taking the lead in the development of “Blue Technology” products which will enable its customers to adopt more sustainable manufacturing solutions through cold processing. Developing and commercialising innovative products that meet the current and future needs and wants of consumers worldwide will continue to be a key pillar of the company’s business strategy. Over the next few years, Croda Singapore will continue to invest heavily to expand its manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand for speciality chemicals in the region.
