The Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists has issued a call for papers for their 2011 conference at the Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane Central, Queensland.
To be held on Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 April, the conference is titled “The Science of Dreams” and people interested in presenting papers or workshops are invited to submit abstracts. Preference will be given to relevant and original work in the cosmetic and personal care fields relating to the conference theme. The abstracts should be submitted by email in the following format:
• The abstract shall be a Word document, in English, typed double space in Arial font either 10 or 12 point and be between 100 and 220 words in length.
• The title shall be in capitals and include the name(s) of the author(s) and with the presenter’s name underlined. If the presenter is not one of the authors, that must be clearly stated.
• Submissions not in the required format may not be accepted.
• Submissions are to be sent to: John Warby with a copy (including abstract) to Nick Urquhart.
• Submissions must be received not later than 1 October, 2010.
• With your abstract please ensure that you include: Paper title, name(s) of author(s), name of presenter (underlined), and company/organisation, postal address, telephone (including country and area codes) and email address.
• Clearly indicate whether you are submitting a paper or workshop.
• Papers shall take 20-25 minutes for presentation.
• Workshops shall take not more than 50-55 minutes. Clearly state whether there is a maximum number of attendees and any special resources required.
