New innovations in skin care

An active ingredient to combat stretch marks and wrinkles, a natural exfoliation booster and a new concept in hydration are all new products available from Silab.

In order to improve skin resistance and limit the appearance of striae, the company offers Elastonyl, an active ingredient that protects and repairs elastic and collagen tissue. Elastonyl combats the degradation of elastic tissue by inhibiting the expression of proteolytic enzymes such as MMP-1, MMP-2 and cathepsin L. The ingredient favours the organisation of the fibril network by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and fibrillin. Another product, Exfolactive is a natural peeling booster to help the skin restore its own exfoliation capacities by stimulating the activity of skin enzymes involved in the natural process of peeling. Rich in purified oligosaccharides from Nopal (Prickly Pear), Exfolactive favours the exfoliation of corneocytes by boosting the activity of Cathepsin-D, SCCE (Stratum Corneum Chymotryptic Enzyme) and SCTE (Stratum Corneum Tryptic Enzyme) and significantly activates cell renewal. Rich in oligosaccharides from wild pansies, Aquaphyline regulates the process of epidermal hydration by maintaining the ideal equilibrium between irrigation and retention. The product improves water circulation from the dermis to the epidermis by stimulating the synthesis of aquaporins-3 and increases the epidermal water binding capacity thanks to its effect on endogenous Hyaluronic acid synthesis.
