TEGO Turmerone is natural plant extract based on a molecular distillation process, which has significant antioxidant activity. An in vitro expression analysis has shown that it induces endogenous cellular defence mechanisms against oxidative stress. As oxidative stress is one of the parameters which can lead to skin ageing, it is important to increase the components of body’s inherent anti-oxidative system.
It is ideal to formulate products for the improvement of skin radiance and evenness of skin tone and also reduces the appearance of wrinkles in face care products which has been proven by an in vivo study. The patent filed TEGO Turmerone is approved by ECOCERT.
