What are customers in Asia really looking for? How are Asian cosmetics regulations affecting your business? How do you protect your innovations from being copied by competitors?
Find out the answer by booking a face-to-face appointment with a qualified business specialist at the Ask the Experts Clinics at in-cosmetics Asia 2009, a leading exhibition and conference in Asia for personal care ingredients.
New for this year’s show, taking place in Singapore on 13 -15 October, the Ask the Experts Clinics are specifically designed to help attendees get the most out of their visit by offering tailored business advice. By registering online in advance of the show, visitors can pre-book a 30-minute session with a leading business professional. For just US$20 (SGD30) per session, these experts will be available to offer practical, strategic business advice on areas including patents, intellectual property, the latest regulations, consumer research, branding and marketing. Following a short brief when visitors register online, the experts will carry out research prior to each appointment to ensure visitors benefit from the best possible advice.
Dr. Alain Khaiat, senior international expert on cosmetics safety, quality and efficacy will be offering advice on regulations while Chris Chong, founder of Singapore law firm, Messrs Chris Chong & CT Ho Partnership, will be on hand to advise visitors on intellectual property and patents. Erwin Baumgartner from the Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) will be sharing his extensive market intelligence and consultancy experience to help visitors get the most from their consumer strategies. Finally, David Phey at Singapore-based company TNBT will be available to answer questions on branding and marketing communications.
Sarah Gibson, Exhibition Manager at in-cosmetics Asia comments: “Visitors have come to expect the very best from the educational element of the show and this year we’re adding even more value with the new Ask the Experts Clinics. Given that the industry is facing a challenging time, we are looking for the most successful ways to work with our visitors to inspire new product development and generate business. The Ask the Experts Clinics will do just that by giving visitors one-on-one customised sessions to help address any queries they may have.”
“Finding experts who can give sound business advice can be a challenge so we are delighted to offer our visitors this fantastic opportunity. Although appointments can also be booked at the show, each will cost $US40 (SGD60), places cannot be guaranteed and visitors will not benefit from any individual research carried out before the appointment. So we really do advise pre-booking online to secure your spot, saving 50%!” adds Sarah.
