Clariant introduces concept strategy

Specialty chemicals company Clariant has launched a new application concept strategy to approach the particular needs of fast-growing personal care market segments.

Its concepts for men’s care and wet wipes apply Clariant’s expertise, its broad portfolio of innovative skin care and hair care ranges, and extensive manufacturing and R&D support, in a focused way to help customers more easily meet sector demands. The company is profiling its innovations and tailored formulations that meet the requirements of the men’s care segment. Clariant is also positioning itself to take advantage of expansion in the wet wipes segment. While baby wipes continue to dominate the global wet wipe market, increases are anticipated in other wipe applications such as those for facial cleansing and make-up removing, personal hygiene, anti-bacterial and disinfection use, insect repellency, sun care and self tanning.
