Reed Exhibitions has announced that due to the continuing global economic crisis, it has decided to not to hold its in-cosmetics India 2009 event.
The exhibition organiser says the decision was driven by the needs of its customers, many of whom have been forced to streamline sales and marketing costs and defer plans to expand into new territories. Reed Exhibitions is placing much emphasis on in-cosmetics Asia (Singapore, 13-15 October) as the leading pan-Asian event, with PCHi (Shanghai 10-12 March 2010) focused on the Chinese market. A highly targeted marketing campaign will be conducted to draw people who would have visited the event in India to in-cosmetics Asia. Reed Exhibitions says that India remains a key territory for the industry, and that it plans to run in-cosmetics India in the future.
