Introduced by Clariant at in-cosmetics was its new “green” innovation Hostacerin SFO, a sunflower oil based emulsifier for creams, lotions and sun care products produced via an energy-saving process.
In line with the increasing trend for cosmetic raw materials to be based on renewable resources, Hostacerin SFO is a sustainable emulsifier based on a non-GMO (genetically modified organism) standard.
The renewable, vegetable product is manufactured by a low energy consuming method using naturally available ingredients, adding to the ecological appeal of the product.
Clariant’s men’s care strategy, unveiled at the show in Munich, is distinctive as it utilises the company’s complete portfolio of multi-functional products, together with its extensive technical and application know-how for the particular requirements of men’s care applications.
For the wet wipes market, Clariant demonstrated its no-compromise range of ingredients and formulations capable of delivering cleansing and sensory effects, and the long-term performance demanded by the various applications in this growth sector.
