Please briefly introduce yourself, your company and your role.
I am the founder Of Japanese Luxe Artisanal Skin & Hair Care Cosmetics, and former award-winning celebrity make-up & hair director. I won an award for best make-up for the Bollywood film Raees. I’m also a former destination weddings beauty expert.
What do you consider to be your most significant achievement to date – whether it’s a specific project, collaboration, or partnership – that has helped shape your professional journey?
Working on every project and accomplishing it dedicatedly is an achievement for me. I feel I have yet to achieve a lot in life, I’m not yet done.
My sincerity towards my craft has always been my priority, but Bollywood films Chak De India and Raees have been significant achievements for me, and I was awarded for both in the Bollywood fraternity.
What inspires your work, and how do you stay motivated to continue driving innovation in the industry?
My passion for the beauty industry always keeps me motivated and driven.
What trends do you foresee in the APAC personal care and beauty industry?
I personally feel that the future of the APAC personal care and beauty industry belongs to Japanese and Korean ingredients and products.
What advice would you give to young professionals looking to make an impact in the APAC beauty industry?
Always be passionate, unique, innovative and dedicated to your work.
What do you hope to achieve in the future?
I want to collaborate and partner with southeast Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Korea, and build my brand to be one of the top brands in the southeast Asian market.
