The 2025 edition of the SCS Formulate trade show in Coventry, UK next month will debut a brand-new pop-up shop celebrating the best of personal care innovation from brands and manufacturers across the UK and Ireland.
The SCS Showcase shop will allow visitors to discover and purchase standout products at exclusive discounted prices, with all proceeds going to Look Good Feel Better, the charity helping people face cancer with confidence.
“The showcase is all about highlighting and championing the fantastic work happening across the UK personal care sector, offering the unique chance to see innovation in action, support a good cause, and take home some of the products shaping the future of the sector,” said a spokeswoman.
Also new for 2025 is the introduction of plenary sessions from two well-known industry pioneers.
For the first time, the conference programme will open and close with exclusive talks from high-profile speakers who are redefining beauty, wellbeing, and entrepreneurship.
SCS Formulate staples returning again for 2025 include the Laura Marshall Awards, which celebrate innovation and excellence in cosmetic science.
Two categories – Sustainability in Ethics and Technology and Disruption – honour the outstanding contributions to formulation development.
Shortlisted companies present their innovations on the first day, with the winners announced at the sold-out SCS Annual Dinner, taking place on Tuesday 11 November at 19:00.
Other SCS Formulate core elements returning for 2025 include:

• Sensory Workshops - Immersive sensory experiences through cutting-edge and innovative formulations designed to engage and delight the senses.
• Mixing - Live demonstrations of equipment in action, connecting attendees with experts and giving a hands-on feel for the technologies shaping the future of production.
SCS Formulate takes place on 11-12 November at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
