TRI-K name changed to Kemira Specialty

The subsidiary company is a leading distributor of ingredients to the cosmetics and personal care industry. Headquartered in New Jersey, United States, and with additional operations in Massachusetts, US, Kemira Specialty employs 50 people – there was a recorded consolidated revenue of about $20 million in 2006.

Kemira, a global leader in titanium dioxide for cosmetics, purchased TRI-K in April 2007. The name change reflects integration and strategic focus on the global cosmetics industry.

In addition to the name change, Kemira Specialty will feature on the www.kemira.com/cosmetics website – which will encompass Kemira’s complete global cosmetics range of products.
