Entries are now open for this year’s Sustainable Beauty Awards. Organised by Ecovia Intelligence (formerly known as Organic Monitor), the aim of the Sustainable Beauty Awards is to give recognition to operators who are pushing the boundaries of sustainability in the beauty industry.
Entries are open to all types of operators in the beauty industry, including cosmetic & personal care brands, retailers & distributors, ingredient firms, packaging companies, NGOs, certification agencies, and related firms.
The awards have five distinct categories…
- New Sustainable Product Award – a new cosmetic or personal care product with important sustainability credentials.
- Sustainable Packaging- a new packaging format that has a low environmental footprint in terms of materials, design and / or application.
- Sustainable Ingredient – an ingredient that makes a significant difference in terms of environmental and / or social impact.
- Sustainability Pioneer – an organisation that is a pioneer or leader in some aspect of sustainability.
- Sustainability Leadership – an organisation that leads in various aspects of sustainability.
The closing date for entries is 21 September, the finalists will be notified by 11 October, and the eventual winners at a dedicated awards reception on 4th June at Paris Marriot Champs Elysées. The reception will be co-hosted alongside the 11th European edition of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, hosted in Paris on November 4-6th. Winners and finalists will benefit from media coverage and industry recognition of their sustainability achievements.
