Givaudan UK – Stand 621
Mastering white biotechnology processes, Givaudan Active Beauty will unveil a longlasting
tan colour enhancer. Based on erythrulose, having a chemical structure very close to Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), this new active ingredient is more stable, has a lower reactivity with the skin proteins than DHA, enabling a more controlled reaction, a more natural tan colour, and a reduced skin peeling afterwards. What if oil control could also mean health and comfort for sensitive skin? Not all oily skin is born equal. Sensitive skin will tend to be weakened by the inflammatory response induced by sebum over-secretion. This chain reaction is often amplified by over cleansing. Combining Symrise’s expertise in sensitive skin, exposome defence and oil control, Symrise has developed an avantgarde ingredient to address oily skin at its true origin.

The Innovations Company – Stand 615

The Innovations Company will be showcasing the below silicone-free alternatives at SCS Formulate 2018: Dedraflow 2: they replace all D4, D5, D6 and dimethicone profiles at equal percentage.

Alphaflow 2 ISO 16128: this is a completely new range to replace silicones with naturality materials. Their INCI name is Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Novatext 2 ISO 16128: they replace all silicones gels with The Innovation Company’s highest soft focus effect with naturality materials.
