Jeen International in Fairfield, NJ has announced the appointment of Dr Jed Riemer as principal scientist.
Dr Riemer holds a PhD in Organic Synthesis from SUNY Stony Brook University with complementing degrees from the University of Rochester and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has been awarded 14 + patents to date, is a published author, and is considered a subject matter expert covering a wide variety of topics and chemistries catering to the personal care, cosmetics, andfood markets.
Dr Riemer will head most of the R&D projects at Jeen and be instrumental in adding to and building on the existing technology platforms that the company has. He was previously with Vantage Specialty Ingredients/Lipo Chemicals and Kraft Foods.
