The French SFC (Société Française de Cosmétologie) is seeking participants at its 19th International Symposium to be held in Paris on 2-3 December.
The symposium, delivered entirely in English, will focus on innovations in skin and scalp biology, microbiomes, cognitive and neuroscience, open innovation, emerging resources, and how AI-based tools are shaping the future of cosmetic science.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 10 September; more information can be found at https://www.sfcosmeto.fr/actualites-events/international-symposium-by-sfc-2025/.
This year's symposium will adopt a hybrid format to reach a wider audience.
The event, which takes place at the Pathé Alésia cinema, 73 avenue du Général Leclerc, Paris 14th arrondissement, will also have dedicated remote online access.
The fast-paced programme is structured around 30-minute plenary lectures given by international experts and 15-minute scientific presentations selected by a jury for their relevance, innovative nature and contribution to cosmetology.
Each session will be followed by a question-and-answer session with participants.
“Organised in an intimate format, with a capacity of 220 participants, the symposium fosters high-quality interactions among a diverse audience: R&D teams, academic researchers, suppliers, consultants, journalists, innovative start-ups and students,” said a spokeswoman.
“This is a unique opportunity to bring together leading researchers and R&D professionals to discuss breakthrough research, disruptive technologies, and out of the box strategies for the next wave of cosmetic solutions,” she added.
