For the upcoming tenth anniversary of the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions announces a new Awards segment that will be launched at PCHi 2017, to be held from 21 – 23 February 2017 at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center.
Additionally, the organisers are introducing English and Mandarin translations across choice conference sessions.
Elynn Xu, project manager at RSE, said: “As PCHi turns 10, we are venturing into new waters to enhance the show experience for our exhibitors and visitors. Through the PCHi Fountain Awards, we aim to identify and celebrate the bright minds behind some of the industry’s most innovative developments and technologies. Moreover, it will be the first time that we are offering consecutive interpretations in key conference sessions, and we hope that this will make our conference tracks more accessible to our international visitors.”
PCHi Fountain Awards
For the first time in 10 years, PCHi is hosting its own awards ceremony alongside the exhibition. Known as the PCHi Fountain Awards, this new segment is designed to reward and spur industry folk towards continual development of cutting-edge technologies. Innovations launched between 2014 – 2016 will be thoroughly assessed by experts from Universities, Research Institutions, PCHi’s Cosmetics Science & Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC), and established domestic and foreign scientific research individuals.
The Awards comprise seven categories that recognise excellence in technology, packaging, and also in personal contributions:
- Active Ingredients
- Functional Ingredients
- Processing, Packaging & Testing
- Green/Sustainable
- Packaging Innovation
- Packaging Design & Market Application
- Outstanding Individual of the Year Award
Winners of the PCHi Fountain Awards will be announced at the 2017 Industry Night Gala on 21 February 2017.
Making History: PCHi 2017 Conference Programme
An evergreen show segment, the annual PCHi Conference Programme is specially designed to engage attendees about the latest industry practices and trends. For the first time in PCHi’s history, RSE will offer bilingual sessions for several of its leading conference tracks, including:
• Rules & Regulations Conference: Asia,
• Market Trends Conference,
• Natural Extracts, Chinese Herbs and Essential Oil Conference, and
• Baby Care Conference.
Not-to-be-missed, these bilingual conferences will be spread across the three show days, providing international visitors with plentiful opportunities for acquiring new knowledge. PCHi’s carefully structured conference programme ensures that delegates walk away re-energised and equipped with effective strategies ready for implementation.
Xu shared, “We recognise that our international visitors attend PCHi to walk the show floor and to learn from industry experts. To enhance the visitor experience, PCHi is now going one step further by introducing English translated content. As a decade-long event, PCHi continues to stay committed and relevant to the industry through various initiatives, like implementing new show activities and bridging the language-barrier gap for our global visitors. We are hopeful that PCHi 2017 will turn out to be the show’s most impressive edition yet.”
