Nano-free solutions for cosmetics with UV filters

ADPCosmetics presents two lines of non-nanometric mineral filters to face the main challenges in the sunscreen cosmetics market: high SPF, broad-spectrum protection and photostability.

ADParticles exploits in exclusivity a patented method, named dry dispersion, which allows the dispersion and anchoring of particles of different sizes. A new structure is obtained where the light access to smaller particles in the filter is facilitated to thus increase the SPF in the final formulation.

The filters fabricated with this innovative technology can be used in sun care formulations and colour cosmetics with protection.

In sun care, ADPCosmetics presents EnhanceU-T and EnhanceU-S - two filters based on titanium dioxide (and) zinc oxide, designed to achieve high SPF values and similar broad spectrum protection in natural formulations. These filters possess Ecocert certifications. For those formulations that do not require natural labels, EffectiveU-T is presented as a complementary filter, designed to increase the covering in UVA region.

In colour cosmetics with protection, ADParticles/ADPCosmetics presents three filters, with different tonalities, achieved thanks to the incorporation of iron oxides into the structure. EnhanceU-T-Light, EnhanceU-T-Medium, EnhanceU-T-Warm are thus the filters proposed for BB creams or CC creams, where coluor is combined with sun protection. These filters possess Ecocert certifications. Furthermore, a different tonality, EnhanceU-T-exclusive, can be fabricated under request.
