New show areas featured in 2016 Paris show

In response to growing demand for direct interaction and hands-on knowledge transfer, in-cosmetics has announced that its 2016 event in Paris will feature two new show areas – a Formulation Lab and Sensory Bar.

The free-to-attend show from 12-14 April 2016 will give visitors hands-on experience and access to demonstration style sessions in the form of its new Formulation Lab, for which Personal Care is an official Media Partner, and which was launched to great success during in-cosmetics Asia 2014. The Sensory Bar is a feature to be introduced for the first time at in-cosmetics in Paris 2016

Visitors will benefit from the expert advice on offer at the Formulation Lab – a purpose-built laboratory on the show floor complete with benches and a range of equipment. Exhibitors, including Evonik, Ashland and Lucas Meyer will host onehour sessions, allowing finished product manufacturers to learn from the experts who are driving innovation in the sector.

The new Sensory Bar will house a ‘tryout’ area where visitors can test innovative textures and new sensations. Formulations created using new fragrances, tastes and state-of-the-art pigments will be displayed, aiming to capture the imagination of manufacturers and facilitate the development of new relationships and consumer products.
