New staff to support growth

Ingredient supplier AAK Personal Care has hired a new global sales manager and technical support manager. AAK Personal Care anticipates continued growth due to increased demand for more natural and sustainable products in the cosmetics industry and rising consumption of personal care products in emerging markets.

“To organise for the future, we have decided to strengthen the sales and technical teams of AAK Personal Care. I am therefore pleased to announce the employments of Mr. Kristoffer Ahlerupand and Mr. Jarek Tabor,” said Minna Dam, global director at AAK Personal Care.

Kristoffer Ahlerup, 36, will in his position as global sales manager have the coordinating role of the sales team and take the operational responsibility for China as an important growth market. He has more than 10 years of international sales and marketing experience from the cosmetics and life science industries, including L’Oréal, Ferrosan, and Reckitt Benckiser. His former professional assignments include management of subsidiaries as well as an international distributor network. Kristoffer holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics.

Jarek Tabor, 44, will in his position as technical support manager help drive the business development of selected clients and geographic areas. He will also assist in the management of lipid technology centre AAK Academy, targeting existing as well as potential customers worldwide. Jarek has more than 15 years of experience from the cosmetics industry, for example at Inter- Fragrances in Poland and Kemi-Intressen in Sweden. He holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the Agricultural University in Pozna´n, Poland.
