Consumer-driven applications

From October 9 to 11, BASF will be taking part in the 60th Sepawa Congress in Fulda, Germany, at booths 200-202 and 250-254. At this year’s Sepawa Congress, BASF’s Personal Care business will reveal fresh insights into Lamesoft OD, one of its latest consumerdriven innovations.

The micro emulsion is made up entirely of renewable raw materials and enriches body cleansing products with finely dispersed oil which remains on the skin after washing. In response to the growing consumer demand for products based on plant-derived ingredients, BASF will also present its alkyl polyglucoside range Plantacare which will be featured in a new brochure. These surfactants are ideal for use in natural-based rinse-off products, and offer excellent cleansing as well as proven mildness. With ‘Synchronized Beauty’, BASF’s Personal Care business will launch a new face care concept based on chronosolutions that take into account the skin’s circadian rhythm to give it a radiant glow at all times. Moreover, BASF’s portfolio on display will include Luviset One. The all-in-one solution for hairstyling gels, creams and waxes delivers strong styling performance and long-lasting curl retention together with a smooth, crystal-clear gel base.
