New exhibition and conference

H3i will take place on 5 – 6 March 2013, at the NMM Exhibition Centre, Birmingham UK. H3i is an exhibition and conference that focuses on the raw materials, ingredients and services used in formulating household, industrial & institutional cleaning products.

The combination of the exhibition, the exhibitor led TechFocus programme and the BACS Conference, ensures that every aspect of formulating for HI&I cleaning products is covered.

The Exhibition
Featuring the raw materials, ingredients and formulation services some of the largest ingredient manufacturers and service providers within the HI&I industry. The H3i exhibition gives attendees access to a wealth of information, expertise, products, services and advice. With opportunities for focused discussions, investigations and comparisons.

TechFocus
The TechFocus programme is a series of Free to Attend, short-sharp exhibitor-led presentations featuring the science, technology and formulation techniques behind some of the latest ingredients and technology in the industry. It is ideal for definitive answers to technical questions from the people who make the ingredients.

BACS Conference
The BACS Conference at H3i provides an insight into a range of topics and issues of relevance to the speciality chemicals industry in general, and the HI&I sector in particular, with papers given by expert presenters. Subjects presented will include:

 Some current regulatory issues with presentations on the new Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), problems of working in SIEFs to share data for REACH registration and the production of Safety Data Sheets for Mixtures.
 Trends and drivers in the speciality chemicals market and developments in selected raw materials and ingredients.
 Aspects of sustainability illustrated by a series of presentations from its use as a driver for innovation, its application to surfactants chemistry, from the perspective of both a global formulator and the consumer goods sector.

Delegates to the BACS Conference at H3i will gain a valuable appreciation of the various issues impacting on their businesses and that of their customers and, where appropriate, to inform them of the actions they should be taking.
