KYOWA HAKKO BIO and Daiichi Fine Chemical integrate its European entities

KYOWA HAKKO BIO CO., LTD., Tokyo, Japan (KHB), KYOWA HAKKO KIRIN’s Biochemical affiliate, reorganizes its European whole owned entities effective as of April 1st, 2009 with the merger of KYOWA HAKKO EUROPE GmbH (KHE) and DAIICHI FINE CHEMICAL EUROPE GmbH (DFE).

Molecular film for skin

Lipotec has launched Peelmoist, a molecular film that fights against dryness and desquamation skin problems. The new product helps to renew old cells from the stratum corneum (SC) through papain, a proteolytic enzyme. Peelmoist prevents rough and dry skin.

Strahl & Pitsch boosts research

Veronique Rossow has joined Strahl & Pitsch as director of research. This newly expanded position will best utilise her experience in product design and formulation with the aim of incorporating both existing and novel wax materials into consumer product prototypes for the cosmetic and personal care industry.
