Honeywell announced recently that it has been named the North America and Latin America distributor of Créations Couleurs’s line of ingredients for skin care, sun care and color care products.
The French company’s product line will be offered alongside Honeywell’s Asensa line of ingredients for the personal care industry.
“Créations Couleurs’ exciting and trendsetting products will complement Honeywell’s Asensa offerings for personal care product manufacturers,” said Philip Orawski, global marketing manager for Honeywell’s personal care business. “Now, our customers in the Americas will have access to more of the world’s finest ingredients.”
Honeywell introduced its Asensa line of low-molecular weight polymers in 2006. The line quickly grew to include a wide range of products that help make sunscreens more waterproof, exfoliants more effective and lotions lighter and smoother. Today, Asensa products are used in a variety of end-use applications ranging from lipsticks to moisturizers to pressed powders.
Créations Couleurs is a privately-held company based in Dreux, France. The company manufactures Creastar and Coloursphere composite materials that provide high-impact colour; Biomethics cold-processable emulsifiers that bring a softness to emulsions using natural ingredients; Dedraflow emollients that range from very volatile grades that leave no residue to more viscous grades that provide deposition; and Fiflow anti-wrinkle active ingredients.
