Soliance announced the arrival of Paolo Marchesi as executive sales director from September 2011. Paolo joined Soliance in late 2005 as export area manager in charge of United States as well as Western Europe and Asian countries.
He was appointed vice president of sales and chief operating officer of Soliance US (a subsidiary of Soliance) when it was formed in 2008. Paolo Marchesi has a degree in chemistry from the University of Milan (1995) and previously worked for Arkema (formerly known as Atofina). Before Soliance, he worked for Elementis Specialties as global area manager, and he has been a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists since 2006 and of the French Cosmetic Society since 2004.
