ISP Personal Care announced major new product launches at in-cosmetics 2011 and set the stage for a technology alliance that promises to deliver new product breakthroughs to the personal care industry.
Introducing Natriance Biofractions for anti-ageing skin care formulations, the company, through the work of its skin care R&D team, moved ever-closer to the biological markers and proteins associated with ageing and environmental damage.
Introducing Survixyl IS peptide, a breakthrough technology for preserving the niche environment that is key to maintaining a healthy population of stem cells, ISP improved the ability of skin care formulators to address stem cell self-renewal. And with the introduction of Styleze XT3 polymer for lasting control and manageability, a heat-activated ingredient that helps knock out “frizz” while adding shine and manageability, ISP extended these consumer-desirable benefits through multiple wash cycles. With the launch of AquaStyle 300 AF polymer for hair gel, ISP extended the benefits of super hold, humidity resistance and shine to water-based, low-VOC styling formulations. ISP also announced a technology alliance with flavour and fragrance maker, Takasago, to better support new innovations in consumer dental products and to enable the use of functional technologies not previously available within the oral care industry.
