Lipo Chemicals Inc is currently promoting Lipo SFS-5, a non-silicone substitute for cyclomethicone D5.
Many formulators are looking at replacements for D-5, and Lipo Chemicals believes their Lipo SFS-5 product offers a range of features that make it an ideal non-silicone option. This elegant fluid provides the same performance features as cyclomethicone D5 without the drying and whitening effect of volatile silicone fluid. Cyclomethicones cause de-fatting or “whitening of the skin, noticeable in the valley” or line folds. Lipo SFS-5 will also mask the whitening effect of antiperspirant salts and stearyl alcohol residue on dark clothing and skin. With an elegant skin-feel and fast absorbency, Lipo SFS-5 is an emollient blend that acts as a functional substitute for cyclomethicone fluids. The product can be used in a variety of cosmetic products when a non-silicone solution is needed, including skin care creams and lotions, foundations, decorative cosmetics, pre and post shaving and sunless self tanning.
