Coptis appoints chief revenue officer

Cosmetic R&D software outfit Coptis has appointed Jean-Baptiste Mérieux as its new chief revenue officer.

With a strong background in scaling fast-growing companies and leading successful teams, Mérieux brings deep experience in business development, customer relations, and strategic partnerships.

He joins the French company at a time of strong momentum and with a clear mission to accelerate international expansion, strengthen brand presence, and further enhance customer experience across all markets.

Before joining Coptis, Mérieux held several leadership roles at Singulart, a fast-growing contemporary art marketplace, where he successfully led cross-functional teams across Sales, Supply, Logistics, and Customer Care.

As VP Sales & Operations, he managed over 40 employees and implemented performance-driven strategies that resulted in significant improvements in lead conversion, logistics cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.

He also launched new offers and B2B business lines, generating €1m in annual sales.

Earlier in his career, Mérieux served as Country Manager for Life Project 4 Youth in Vietnam, a non-profit organization, where he led impactful social programs.

He also worked as a Senior Analyst at Redbridge, advising major French corporates on financial structuring and treasury optimization.

“What excites me most about joining Coptis is the company’s unique ability to combine cutting-edge technology with a strong, international and human-centred approach,” said Mérieux.

“Coptis has built a trusted relationship with its clients and partners over the years. I look forward to strengthening those connections, listening closely to our users, and supporting the success of cosmetic laboratories around the world,” he added.
