Italian biotech outfit BiCT has appointed Brenntag to distribute its Lactive skin care ingredient in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Lactive is a bioactivated form of lactoferrin, a natural milk protein with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties.
It helps to rebalance the skin's microbiome and is therefore ideal for acne-prone skin.
Lactive also strengthens the skin barrier for skin prone to atopic dermatitis and prevents skin aging by promoting regeneration and resilience.
