US personal care product contract manufacturer Vanitas has appointed Angie Liv-Butiu as its principal chemist.
In her new role, Liv-Butiu (pictured, left) will leverage her extensive bench experience and industry knowledge to spearhead new product development, enhance formulation strategies, and foster a collaborative research and development culture.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the chemistry field and a proven track record of developing award-winning formulations, Liv-Butiu brings a wealth of expertise to the Vanitas team.
She has dedicated the last decade to formulating innovative solutions in hair care, skin care, colour cosmetics, and OTC products for leading beauty and personal care brands.

The Los Angeles County-based firm has meanwhile appointed Alexis Phaniphon (pictured, right) as project manager of product development.
She will focus on strengthening brand partnerships, ensuring seamless product development, and maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence in manufacturing.
